About Danielle Spitzer:

Danielle Spritzer
Northwell Health
Danielle Spitzer is a Director, Fair Employment Practices at Northwell Health. Her role focuses on leading the workforce equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives for the health system. Prior to this role, she was a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, supporting Northwell’s Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Urology, and Research service lines.
Before joining Northwell in January 2018, Danielle spent 15 years working in HR in the financial services industry including progressive HR roles at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and most recently Capital One. While at Capital One Bank Danielle was a Sr. HR Business Partner for several of their Commercial Banking businesses and most recently held the position of Head of Diversity and Inclusion for the Commercial Bank. In this role she developed their ED&I strategy and helped lead several initiatives including launching a new mentoring program, leading a leadership program for mid-level management women leaders and co-developing a Women in Finance Summit to help build a pipeline of women into financial services at the college level.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behavior from the Boston University School of Management, and her Masters of Science in Human Resources Management from Fordham University. She is a graduate of the Women Unlimited LEAD Program in 2017, where was also the recipient of their Peer Mentor award.
